BUCHI New Device
In March 2015 BÜCHI Labortechnik AG launched a new solution for automated fat determination. The new Extraction Unit E-816 ECE (Economic Continuous Extraction) automates the continuous extraction method according to Twisselmann. It ensures significant cost savings and increases the operator availability:
- Lowest solvent consumption due to compact design of new glass assembly
- Superior solvent recovery due to cooled solvent tank (> 90%)
- Minimal operator intervention thanks to easy sample loading
- Up to four times faster compared to extractions using classical glassware
- Excellent reproducibility as a result of automated continuous extraction method
