ATR BR – Compact Refractometer

SCHMIDT + HAENSCH ATR BR is a compact, stand-alone critical angle refractometer designed for precise measurement of liquid samples with different viscosities, regardless of their opacity or color.

Thanks to its robust design, easy operation, and excellent price-performance ratio, the ATR BR is suitable for both laboratory and production applications. Only 0.3 mL of sample is required for stable and precise measurements.

Applications

The ATR BR is suitable for a wide range of applications in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, medical, and petrochemical industries.

It can be used for the analysis of yoghurt, jam, fruit extracts, syrups, honey, coffee extracts, vegetable fats, chocolate, milk, and baby food, as well as for quality control of soft drinks, fruit juices, wine, and beer.

In the chemical industry, it is suitable for analyzing solvents, organic polymers, distilled products, and inorganic solutions. In petrochemical applications, it can be used for monitoring oils, fats, waxes, crude oil, varnishes, and paints.
