Bruker Q8 MAGELLAN – High-End Optical Emission Spectrometer for Metal Analysis
Bruker Q8 MAGELLAN is a high-performance Spark-OES spectrometer designed for precise and reliable metal analysis, primary production control, and quality control. Thanks to its 100% PMT detectors, high-vacuum optics, and advanced Single Spark Evaluation (SSE) technology, it provides exceptionally low detection limits and enables the analysis of metallic and non-metallic inclusions.
The Q8 MAGELLAN can be adapted to different analytical requirements, with more than 200 available analytical channels, making it suitable for single- and multi-matrix applications, trace element analysis, and various types of metal alloys.

Applications
The Q8 MAGELLAN is designed for the analysis of various metal matrices, including iron and steel, aluminum and magnesium, nickel and cobalt, lead, tin and zinc, copper, and titanium, as well as precious metals upon request.
It is particularly suitable for analysis of impurities and non-metallic inclusions in steels, analysis of high-purity copper, and demanding applications such as the determination of oxygen in copper and nitrogen in steels.
