    Bruker TITAN

Bruker TITAN – Handheld XRF Analyzer

The Bruker TITAN is a compact and robust handheld XRF analyzer designed for fast, reliable, and non-destructive elemental analysis of materials. It enables analysis directly at the point of measurement, eliminating the need to transport samples to a laboratory.

TITAN combines an advanced Silicon Drift Detector (SDD), a flexible X-ray source, and a rugged housing, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in industry, quality control, metallurgy, recycling, mining, and geology.

The instrument covers an elemental range from Na to U. Its lightweight design, battery-powered operation, and IP64 protection make it well suited for everyday field use and demanding industrial environments.

    Metallurgy

Analysis of various metal materials and alloys for production and quality control processes.

    Recycling and Metal Sorting

Fast identification and sorting of different types of metals and alloys.

    Mining and Geology

Field-based elemental analysis of minerals and geological samples, enabling rapid decision-making directly at the sampling location.

    Technology

TITAN uses a Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) with a graphene window and an active area of 20 mm², providing a typical resolution of less than 140 eV at 800,000 cps.

The X-ray tube features a rhodium (Rh) anode and operates at 5–50 kV and 5–200 μA, with a maximum output power of 5 W.

The automatic collimator allows selection between small and large measurement areas, while the motorized five-position primary beam filter enables optimization of measurement conditions for different materials.

Two integrated cameras provide easy sample positioning and visualization of the measurement area.
